  1. I think this is a very interesting aspect of Alzheimer’s that we fail to realize. It is one of the cruelest diseases. I have personally witnessed its effects on a family member and it is heartbreaking to say the least. Maybe if more people are informed by this article it will help them to understand that their loved one is not just an empty person, but unable to express themselves.

  2. I agree that more people should be educated about this disease. The support groups are good, but if they don’t have the background in the care and respect for the Alzheimer patient, how much can they help the family or caretaker? I have a 65 yr. old friend that has this disease, and lost my father and some of his siblings to it. It is heartbreaking to see someone you love go through this, so again, I agree this information should be out there for those families that are dealing with this disease. This article can be an eye opener to those that are new to this condition.
